Breakout Session 3 – Interactive Discussion: Teaching in the Gray Zone

March 4 | 11:15 am - 12:30 pm

Jennifer Ward, Assistant Teaching Professor, Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law, Arizona State University

This is not the session for quietly working in the back row. Teaching in the Gray Zone is a facilitated, discussion-based session examining the lived experience of instruction in online and hybrid legal education. Participants will engage in structured conversation about ambiguity around academic integrity, AI use, accommodations, and faculty roles across varied institutional contexts. Attendees should expect active participation and reflective dialogue rather than a traditional lecture.
